Cutting Away Cancer

Cutting Away Cancer

A multi layered paper-cutting representing a Lung Cancer Tumor magnified 20x.
Part of my “cutting away cancer” project I am currently working on, exploring the internal view of cancer and how it affects the human body on a microscopic scale.

(Exhibited at the Hoxton Gallery, Old Street in London.)

The multi-layered lung cancer paper cutting, alongside 2 miniature paper cuttings in petri dishes and 5 paper stem cell models, were used as props for an experimental and abstract film about cancer. (see ‘Cancer Clean’ project for the film)
